STRUCTURAL INSULATED PANELS (SIPS)

Structural insulated panels (SIPs) are high-performance building panels used in exterior walls, roofs, and floors for residential and light commercial construction. The panels are made by sandwiching a core of rigid foam insulation between two skins of wood structural panels, typically oriented strand board (OSB). The panels consist of an insulating foam core sandwiched between two structural facings, typically oriented strand board (OSB). SIPs are manufactured under factory-controlled conditions and can be fabricated to fit nearly any building design. The result is a building system that is extremely strong, energy-efficient, and cost-effective. Building with SIPs will save you time, money, and labor.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

  • Reduce construction time

  • Decrease construction costs

  • Better home energy-efficiency

  • Increase indoor air quality

  • Stronger structure

  • Quieter interior

  • Less impact on build site

  • Eco-friendly & recyclable materials

Modular Homes

Modular buildings and Modular Homes are sectional prefabricated buildings, or houses, that consist of multiple sections called modules. "Modular" is a method of construction versus "stick-built" and other methods such as off-site construction. The modules are six side boxes constructed in a remote facility, then delivered to their intended site of use. Using a crane, the modules are set onto the building's foundation and joined together to make a single building. The modules can be placed side-by-side, end-to-end, or stacked, allowing a wide variety of configurations and styles in the building layout.

MANUFACTURED HOMES

Building a structure off-site to high standards, Manufactured Housing, like Modular Housing, is built in a controlled environment, eliminating waste and time delays. If this is something of interest to you, please contact us for more information.

Benefits of Manufactured Homes

  • The homes are built entirely in the factory, under federal building codes

  • Sections of the home are connected and finished on-site with the contractor

  • Building the homes are not delayed because of weather or on-site obstacles

  • Cannot tell difference between a traditionally built house and a site-built home

  • Many features are customizable

  • These homes build equity

ADU’S

ADU, or Adjacent Dwelling Unit, are self-contained, smaller living dwellings on the same lot of a single-family house. It's either attached to the main house or detached as a separate stand-alone home. Typically they are independent cottage, granny-unit, or guest house. A great way to add value to your home, create income, and/or house a family member.
